In term 3, our current year 10 and 11 students have had the opportunity to apply for a VET course for 2023 to help work towards their career pathway goals. We have had over 60 applications so far!
Please find the process below for students to be officially accepted into the course by the end of the school year:
VET PROCESS – Term 4
- Registered Training Organisation (RTO) completes VETRO Part B
- Family completes VETRO Part C (this will be emailed to parent/guardian from the Department for Innovation & Skills, check junk folder)
- Complete Literacy and Numeracy assessment with RTO (TBC offsite or group onsite)
- Complete RTO enrolment paperwork (acceptance letter to follow)
- Adjust 2023 timetable to accommodate VET day/s if required.
NOTE
1) Some RTO’s may have information sessions that you MUST attend in term 4 eg Thebarton Senior College
2) Students must continue to regularly check emails and Daymap as this will be our main form of communication
