This term, Brighton Secondary School will be offering Parent-Student-Teacher Conversations for all students as part of our Assessment and Reporting processes. These conversations give you and your young person the opportunity to seek feedback on their academic progress so far and strategies to support their success in the second half of the semester.
Following consultation with families and staff, we have decided that the Term 3 conversations will again take place online as this provides the greatest flexibility for families.
Year 12: Wed 16 August, 4pm – 6pm
Year 12 Parent-Student-Teacher Conversations will take place online on Wednesday 16 August from 4.00pm through until 6.00pm. Bookings will open in Daymap from Monday 7 August at 5.00pm. All classes for all year levels will run on this day as normal.
Year 7 to 11: Wed 30 August, 11am – 7pm
Year 7 – 11 Parent-Student-Teacher Conversations will take place online on Wednesday 30 August from 11.00am through until 7.00pm. Bookings will open in Daymap from Monday 21 August at 5.00pm. Year 7 – 11 classes will not run on this day.
Bookings will take place through Daymap, and meetings will take place online through Webex, an online meeting platform.

If you are unavailable to make appointments with some teachers, you are welcome and encouraged to contact your young person’s teachers at any time for information in relation to their learning and wellbeing. This also applies where some teaching staff are not available for appointments on the days. These staff will contact families regarding their availability.
