Our Facilities
The Spence Toilet upgrade to refurbish and improve the quality and access of facilities for all students is now complete.
Between the 2 toilet blocks, the refurbishment will provide:
- 14 all-gender toilets accessible to all students,
- 2 accessible all-gender toilets, and
- 1 staff toilet.
It will help create accessible toilets for gender diverse students, more toilets available for all students to access, and reduce the space for congregation in such facilities
This upgrade has revitalised the Senior Study Centre, creating a Senior School hub for Years 10, 11, and 12 (similar to what was achieved in Tarni Warra for Years 7-9)
The Senior Study Centre was opened in 2023.
In 2022 we celebrated the official opening of our new Middle School building, Tarni Warra, which means ‘sound of the waves’ in Kaurna language, by the Hon John Gardner MP, Minister for Education.
The building of Tarni Warra and the significant refurbishment of our original 1952 Spence building, was made possible through a $13.8million investment by the state government’s Capital Works Program, associated with the move of year 7s to high school.
