Brighton Secondary School‚Äôs 2011 results were outstanding, reflecting the hard work, dedication and professionalism of the school‚Äôs students as well as the teachers.
Congratulations to the top-performing student Deanne Wilson, who achieved an ATAR of 99.85, two merits and was awarded Dux of the school.
Other high achievers were Lauren Footner with 99.5 and one Merit, Tim Stevens 99.0, Jake Taylor 99.80, Izabella Tunis-Notley 99.0 and Samantha Tuscharski 99.05 and one Merit.
22 students achieved an ATAR of 95 and above, up from 12 students in 2010. While these students deserve special mention for their outstanding results through consistent and studious approach, every student who completed their SACE deserves congratulations for their significant achievement. It is a difficult year to manage a heavy workload while balancing work, family and friends.
